MIMS is delighted to premiere “Metal Bass” by Cyclonix, which embraces the sprint of UK bass culture with a heavy dub bassline, ravey melodics and soundclash vocal samples to form a ruff track for the heads.
The 3-track “Metal Bass” EP from Cyclonix kicks off Little Red Hand’s 2021 schedule, following his recent releases on underground labels including Percebes, Broadcite, Boogie Cafe, Dope Tones and Phuture Shock Musik.
According to the producer himself, “the three tracks on the Metal Bass EP represent the sound I’m looking to release on Little Red Hand. They take influences and sounds from 90’s jungle and DNB, 2000s broken beat, 2010s post dubstep & 2020s “bass “music, and puts them into a mixing pot with some soulful and jazzy vibes, to make some contemporary electronic fusion music for the dancers and the head-nodders. Hopefully the music will appeal to people who are into different music styles and genres.”
Officially released March 26 on all streaming and digital platforms, you can cop it early now on Juno Download.
